Currency
The official currency of Taiwan is the New Taiwan Dollar (NTD). U.S. dollars and Euros can be exchanged for NTD at banks. If you are traveling from overseas, it is recommended to bring some U.S. dollars or Euros for currency exchange. Banks are available at the airport and throughout downtown Taipei.
